3.1 [Process] Major Project / Thesis Materials
Since I didn't receive feedback for my assignment from last week due to a personal matter, I decided to focus on different color palettes, researching animated logos and typefaces. This week I worked on researching portable backdrops and equipment for the podcast and YouTube channel. I played around with different color palettes and applied some of them to the portable backdrops. Although I didn't apply any new typefaces to this piece, I did choose some typefaces that I can test out on other materials. By adding color and type it creates visual hierarchy and contrast. While experimenting with a variety of color palettes this week I learned how certain colors create emotion which can affect your project in so many ways. Color can change the mood of your target audience so choosing the right colors are vital for the development of our thesis projects. Next week I want to add more images of people in groups, revise the other materials so my elements are overlapping and integrating together more.
