4.1 [Project Check-In] Major Project / Thesis Materials
This week I worked on revising the Integrasian logo. I removed the symbol and played around with the elements and added them into the logo. Unfortunately the details with the elements get lost when incorporated with the letters. As I experimented with the logo I played with the font weights and made the word Asian bolder. If I make the weights too different I'm afraid the name might not read the same. It could break up the word and make it sound different. My concept for this logo is to show it integrating together. At this point I'm leaning towards the logo just being the name and showing integration.
I researched other symbols that represent each area of Asia so I can create more brand elements. For the portable backdrops that I experimented with last module I added silhouettes of people siting and standing. I redesigned each so the graphics could be more visible. For the process book I will add the backdrops in a room with real people in front of them to show perspective. Next week I will revise my other deliverables by integrating the Asian and American elements into each. I will add more images showing students engaging together and show the elements integrating with the images more.
For the user testing I reached out to some participants who were referred to me by friends. Next week I will send out a link to students at USC and AAU requesting participants.
I started to create a rough draft of my thesis process book. I added some pages of my visual system. I'm still deciding on how to break down the information for the process book. I will work on finalizing it next week.
